Principal Broker Thomas P. Waltz (Tom) is a veteran of the Commercial Real Estate industry and is the cofounder of Campana Waltz Commercial Real Estate. LLC He has over 25 years of experience in the Hampton Roads market area. Mr. Waltz has sold or leased a wide variety of Commercial properties throughout the region. Mr. Waltz sold the world renowned Historic Chamberlin Hotel in Hampton, Virginia. This transaction was recognized by the Virginia CCIM Chapter as one of the most significant real estate transactions in the Commonwealth of Virginia.
Mr. Waltz graduated from Christopher Newport University (CNU) with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Business Administration with a concentration in Real Estate. During college he worked at United Parcel Service and learned the valuable lesson 'Time is Money" and employs that concept into his business and that of his clients.
Through the years he has successfully worked with Fortune 500 companies, municipal governments, Educational institutions, various local and regional businesses and start up companies pursuing the American Dream. Tom has held numerous leadership positions with a variety of Professional and Civic organizations. Tom is married to his wife Janis and they have two sons, Anthony and Travis. Both sons have their real estate licenses with Campana Waltz Commercial Real Estate.
Vincent (Skip) A. Campana is the cofounder of Campana Waltz Commercial Real Estate and was previously the Supervising broker of Drucker & Falk's Virginia Commercial Sales and Leasing division for over twenty years. Prior to Drucker & Falk, Mr. Campana founded ALCAM Real Estate, a commercial development / construction and brokerage firm.
Mr. Campana began his career in real estate in 1977 with Eastern International, a regional commercial development firm, responsible for all marketing and property management of a portfolio that exceeded 5,000,000 square feet in Virginia. Mr. Campana's specialty is orchestrating commercial real estate investment be it a Class A office building, neighborhood retail center or a 200,000 square foot warehouse facility.
The secret in Mr. Campana's eyes is real world experience, understanding the components i.e. finance, construction of the deal and effectively evaluate the risk/gain factor. There is much to be said for thinking outside the box. Mr. Campana is a resident and native of Williamsburg. He graduated Cum Laude from Old Dominion University with a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Communications. He is an active member of the Old Dominion University Center for Real Estate and Economic Development Advisory Board, served on the James city County's Economic Development Authority (EDA) for twelve years as well as being a Past Chairman in 1996, Ex-resident (1997) of Hampton Roads Association for Commercial Real Estate, involved with Peninsula Home Builders Association, Tidewater Association of Realtors, Boy Scout Troop 103, Virginia Peninsula Chamber of Commerce, Williamsburg Area Chamber of Commerce, Virginia Citizens Planning Association (Architectural Planner), Director for the Housing Partnership Initiative, Historic Triangle Real Estate Group and the Chesapeake Bank Advisory Board.
He has a passion for his family, his dog (Murphy), boating on the James River and skeet shooting.
Jane Ruehrwein is a Partner and Administrator at Campana Waltz. She is a licensed real estate agent and Notary Public for the Commonwealth of Virginia. She has over 25 years of admin and office management experience. Jane provides administrative support to the Campana Waltz Brokers and also handles office management including all aspects of accounting. After taking a couple years off to live in the mountains of Colorado, she returned to Hampton Roads to work again with Tom and Skip. She spends her free time with her family and their activities include biking, hiking, and bowling. She also enjoys playing with her Akita pup, Kiyoshi Bear. In her spare time, Jane likes reading, exercising, playing Bunco, and going to the shooting range. Jane and her husband of 33 years, Michael have 2 sons, Mike and Christopher. While in Colorado, Jane hiked the State's 2 highest peaks, Mt. Elbert and Mt. Massive. Jane was raised in Schuylerville, NY, and currently resides in Carrollton.
Ron A. Campana, Jr. has been specializing in Sales & Leasing of commercial properties since 2003.
Ron is a graduate of Virginia Commonwealth University (VCU) with a B.S. in Criminal Justice. At VCU, Ron was on the Dean’s List, as well as, an active member of the National Criminal Justice Honor Society. Ron is distinguished by his dedication and active involvement in the Community; he found the largest based blood drive on the East Coast.
Ron is also an Eagle Scout with Williamsburg’s Troop 103. He is a board member on the Board of Zoning Appeals for James City County, is actively involved with the Williamsburg Area Chamber of Commerce, Hampton Roads Association of Commercial Real Estate (HRACRE), Virginia Peninsula Chamber of Commerce, the International Council of Shopping Centers (ICSC) and the Economic Progress Committee. Ron is the Co-Founder of the Young Emerging Professionals of Williamsburg and was the recipient of the Membership Star of the Year from the Greater Williamsburg Chamber & Tourism Alliance.
Since the inception of Campana Waltz Commercial Real Estate. LLC., in August of 2006, Ron has been instrumental in the sale and lease of numerous properties in the Hampton Roads area. Ron is also an avid actor and was raised in Williamsburg where he still resides.
Vince A. Campana, III acquired his Real Estate Salesman license after graduating from Walsingham Academy in Williamsburg, Va at the age of eighteen. Afterwards he attended Radford University and then Christopher Newport University where he graduated with a Bachelors Degree in History. He is a vivacious agent and prides himself on constantly going the extra mile for his clients. Though he is highly experienced in dealing with a variety of commercial sales and leases he has earned a sterling reputation in dealing in Retail and Industrial applications. His persistence, personality, and passion for "getting the job done" make him a valued asset in finalizing The Deal.
Beyond real estate, Vince is active with various organizations such as the Williamsburg Chamber of Commerce and the York County Chamber of Commerce.
In 2009 he was accepted too and graduated from the Virginia Peninsula Chamber of Commerce Leadership Institute.
In 2007 Vince co-founded the Young Emerging Professionals of Williamsburg which he is still actively involved.
He is also a professional skydiver with over 1,000 skydives and on weekends when he isn't selling real estate you can find him in the sky.
Travis M. Waltz earned his real estate license at the age of eighteen, and is also pursuing a degree in Business Management and Administration. Travis specializes in the sales and leasing of Office and Industrial Properties. Within the community Travis has been actively involved with Meals on Wheels, Knights of Columbus, and the Boy's and Girl's Clubs of America. Travis was raised in Newport News, and currently resides in York County.
